Despite the inclement weather, a good number of our friends and supporters made it out to Piston & Chain last night to wish us well on our trip. We had promised to bring the bikes and show them off, and the torrential rains provided a great opportunity for us to test all our electrical modifications in the rain on our way to the party. Everything worked while wet, which was a good surprise, but the Zebramobile managed to pick up an impressively large nail on the streets of San Francisco, so we’ll be testing our tire changing skills in the next couple of days.

We were really moved by all the kind words and support and want to thank everyone that made it out. It meant a lot to us.
