We had ridden close to 400km that day when our guide Juan asked us: “There is a place I’d like to take you to tomorrow, it’s a long ride but we’ll get to ride a 4000 meters pass, are you guys tempted?” The answer was unanimous: “Hell yes!”
This is how we found ourselves riding the highest road in Colombia the following day.
